Statement of Principles
Updated on
July 7, 2007
As parents, educators, and concerned citizens, we believe Colorado's future depends on the quality of education we provide our children. For too long, Colorado has failed to invest adequately in our schools. As a result, our students attend overcrowded classrooms and crumbling schools, with outdated textbooks and antiquated technology.
Colorado schools have struggled for funding long enough. Just as we now hold our schools accountable for teaching our children, we will hold our state leaders accountable for doing their job: putting Colorado on a long-term path to adequate investment in our children and schools.
